Laurin Gierman, CCEP is a proud Spartan alum, with a broad portfolio of experience in hospitality service.  After graduating from MSU with a BS, Laurin worked for Sparrow Health System for several years in various positions, before returning home, to MSU.  Laurin spent 4 years in residential dining at Brody and Landon, transitioning Landon to the finish-to-order station dining that is now so popular.  She then worked for residence hall facilities, supervising team members in exceeding expectations in residence halls.  After 2 years, Laurin moved to the conference office where she coordinated 4 separate Odyssey of the Mind World Final events and 2 National Order of the Arrow Conferences, along with over 200 other conferences every summer.  She is also a collegiate conference and events professional (CCEP) through the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors – International (ACCED-I).  Laurin’s experience with customer service and leadership, and years of experience with organization of dining and catering, has brought her to Kellogg Catering, where her goal is that SSC exceeds your expectations, each and every time.
